There is nothing more wonderful for your looks than beauty rest. When I was young, my mother always said beauty rest is important, but I never understood what sleep had to do with looking great. Now I know that sleep is one of the most important things you can do for your body inside and out. Proper sleep is essential to peace of mind as well as a healthy body. You can only look your best when you’re healthy right? It is as simple as that!
There is a reason why they call it beauty rest. Remember how you look whenever you did not have enough sleep? You have a panda’s eyes and your hair is often a mess? If you had adequate sleep, You’ll feel energetic and also fresh. Nowadays, more than ever we all need our beauty rest.
If you want to look your best, make sure you had adequate rest. People can always notice it in my face when I had problems sleeping. I look drained and worn out, and even using makeup won’t help you much. When you had trouble sleeping, it is going to show. You can easily see it on their face when someone is having trouble sleeping. Make sure you’re having 7 hours rest a night.
Another factor in beauty rest is using a good mattress. If you have an old, lumpy bed mattress, you aren’t going to sleep well. I am beginning to believe that is my problem, and I’m going to have to spring for a new bedding before too much more time passes. If your bed mattress is way too soft, or perhaps too firm, you’re not going to sleep well. You may also have a problem if your bed is too small. If you have a wife/husband and you are just using a full size bed, both of you may be having trouble sleeping nicely. Use bigger bed when you feel it is too crowded on the bed. It is going to really help a great deal for a good night’s sleep.

If you’re already using a excellent mattress, however you still can’t rest properly, the next thing you might want to check is your environment. Your bed room should be for sleeping. If you are looking at a mess, or piles of job you have to do the next day, you aren’t going to rest well. Keep work out of your bed room, and also keep the mess picked up. Also, check if the light inside your bedroom is too bright or perhaps there is a noise that is bugging you. - You shouldn’t read, watch tv or work in bed. Use the bed only to rest. This helps prevent you from developing sleep disorders.
- Avoid caffeine, nicotine or other stimulants within three hrs of bed time.
- Minimize light, noises and temperature extremes; your bed room should be comfortably cool, about 68 degrees.
